Hi Guys,

On behalf of my brother and myself I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the help, insight and support that you offered us on our recent purchase of a second hand Warrior 175 from the isle of Barra. My brother Finlay and I have been actively looking for a Warrior 175 for a few years now and at last we have one!
We are thoroughly chuffed with our latest acquisition and look forward to enjoying it. Our hope is to be in a position to come to you in perhaps 5 years time and purchase new !!
It was over quite a few conversations between, Julie, Phil and Frank that we were able to ascertain the true history of this boat and thus allowing us to commit to its purchase.

A HUGE Thank You once again !!!!

Hi Phil

I have to say I am thrilled with the boat. You and your team have done a magnificent job in design and build. The 175 versus my 13-14 year old 150 is like a Merc to a Mini.

Hi Phil

Her maiden voyage from Rhyl to Llandudno and back was simply brilliant. She handled so well ..’rocking and rolling’ over all the waves with commensurate ease. Vibrations all sorted, economy great, looked good and very comfortable. Thanks for (first) servicing my boat and attending so professionally to all my requests for additional extra bits and pieces. Would like to commend you on your website so that everybody can see how you look after your customers.

I appreciate your attitude and professionalism .. going far beyond the call of duty.

I just thought I’d drop yous a line to thank you for my dream boat. From my 1st phone call to yourselfs yous have been nothing but helpful with advise and recommendations. I was really looking forward to coming over and seeing your workshop and seeing how the boats were built. The time and effort put in on my arrival was 2nd to none and was a pleasure meeting such top blokes. I know my boat wasn’t the most straight forward build and I really appreciate your time/effort spent on her. So once again a big thank you for such a great service and top boat.

Dear Frank,
I just wanted to drop you a quick line to thank you for your assistance. You are the reason why people buy warrior boats, as your customer service is second to none. I have managed to replace my bow roller without having to redrill it,as I managed to find a new one in a local chandlery as you suggested, with exactly the same size fittings for £50. You didn’t try and sell me the stainless steel one that you had, with all the effort of redrilling and patching that it would have entailed. For that I am most appreciative.

Regards from a still happy “warrior boats” customer,

Dear Phil and Paul,

I just wanted to formally record my thanks for the superb help and support you and the whole Warrior team have given me to get afloat again, following the theft of my engine and trailing cover and the associated damage.

From the moment I called you for advice after I was notified by the police, to the day a couple of weeks ago when I came to pick up the boat following the new engine fitting, I could not have asked for more.

A particular moment sticks in my mind on that rainy day I dropped the boat off with you, and typifies the service I received – within minutes of arriving , and without even mentioning it, one of the team was already fitting a replacement trailing cover to ensure no further damage was done due to the weather!

One of the most important things to me in boat ownership, is the after sales support that is given when the inevitable problems occur – once again, the Warrior team came up trumps. Nobody ever wants suffer thefts like this, but if this one had to happen, I could not have hoped for a better outcome.

Many thanks once again.

Regards,
Mike Nicholson

Hi Paul,
Spring came to Denmark today! So finally the spring cleaning of my Warrior could be done. I took a few photos, and agreed with myself that I would send it to you 🙂 You build my Warrior a little over 4 years by now, and people still ask me if it is a new boat 🙂 I use my boat a lot, but I also take good care of it. Just wanted you to know that I absolutely love my Warrior. What a great little “big” boat. It has performed at least as good as i hoped! I have upgraded the boat along the way, QL trim (you should not sell a warrior without them!), radar, liferaft, AIS, hood, and just finished installing a eberspacher heater last week.
People often say “what a great fishing boat”… I agree, and always tell them to buy one!!
You can take a look at the pictures, and if you want, also this video: http://youtu.be/jwKjnxorqZk It´s me fighting salmon number 4 this year. 12,2 kg´s. Have a nice day, and keep up the good work

After six months use I would like to thank you for the superb Warrior 175 export that I purchased in August from Cambrian Boats. I thought long and hard about the boat to replace my Arvor 190 and made the choice on the basis of performance, safety and quality of build. In none of these respects have I been disappointed. The performance with a 100 hp Yamaha engine has been superb with speeds of 20-23 mph at 3,600 revs and a highly creditable 1.82 miles per litre over the first 450 miles. As regards safety, I have felt completely confident in the boat throughout including in return home from 10 miles out when winds strengthened to force 5-6 unexpectedly and the quality of build is a quantum leap ahead of competitors. Overall my boat demonstrates the adage that you get what you pay for. I was also extremely impressed at the after-sales service when my radar mounting caused problems despite my being nearly 300 miles from the factory. Once again many thanks to the Warrior team.

Best wishes
Paul

Hi Warrior team

Just a brief email. We’ve been out in the 165 a few times, we’ve just finished running the engine in, me and my brother are really pleased with it. She’s been the talk of the slipway, and has received nothing but glowing compliments from fellow boat anglers. There are so many boats to choose from these days, but without doubt we made the best choice with a Warrior. We’re now just hoping for some good weather as we’re itching to get out.

Anyway I’m off too Oz for a few years and plan on taking my Warrior, Aussie boat angling forum members reckon she’ll be the business for the Queensland coast. I understand you shipped a Warrior to New Zealand. I was wondering if you could forward me the details of the shipping company you used.

Kind Regards
Lee

Hi Paul

Would you mind thanking Phil for the time he took with us in the handover when we collected our boat. Not only was he very patient , he took the time to explain and answer our queries in a very plain and easy to understand way and for that we are very grateful .
We have now used the boat a couple of times (being this time of year in Scotland it doesn’t encourage us to go out more) and we couldn’t be more pleased. We are still in the ‘outboard engine running in period’, nevertheless we have found it very easy to launch and retrieve (as you said it would be), and the ride we get couldn’t be better.
The whole ‘experience’ since we first made contact with you, throughout the selection/ordering phase, right through to delivery/collection and now using our new boat has been excellent, and we would not hesitate to provide our recommendation to anybody.

Once again thanks very much.

26-11-2012 WARRIOR 175 in New Zealand.

In the Warrior Factory Leaving Warrior UK On Route to the Ferry
Arrived in New Zealand In the NZ Washing Bay

I have been a keen fisherman all my life, from a small boy catching perch on the Rochdale canal to fly fishing for the trophy brown trout available here in the south island of New Zealand. A fishing trip with a friend convinced me that I need a small fishing boat with offshore capabilities to exploit the fantastic local sport fishing. My quest began with a look at all the NZ boats of which there are many, mostly aluminum pontoon boats that just didn’t do it for me. Then there was the US market but again most of the boats I looked at were to big or offered no cabin space and dealing with the states was daunting to say the least.
My search took me to the UK and after reading reviews on every web site about every boat, I put together a short list of several boats both new and secondhand, from here I contacted several owners and manufactures. As you can imagine buying a major item over the net is not to be taken lightly, one of the most important aspects had to be integrity of not just the product but even more so the vendor.

The name Warrior Boats in Preston Lancashire came up time after time as not just a great boat but great people to do business with, their reputation was faultless, I could not find a bad word against them. Phil Byrom became my point of contact, he took me through the process always giving me the very best advise on what boat would suit me and my family’s needs. He was patient and understanding, helping me through what was for me a difficult time, I am after all buying a boat I have never seen from a man I have never met for a considerable amount of money in a country on the other side of the world.

I will not bore you with the details, I will just tell you an early delivery date was set and met, I was kept informed of the process with photos and progress reports, it was all very professional. However it’s only when things go wrong that you find a man’s or company’s worth.

When the final photos arrived I noticed the boat had a black floor, which is the standard finish for the color scheme I had chosen, a black floor for Nelson New Zealand would be a huge mistake as it gets very hot here in the summer. I raised this with Phil and he agreed, the problem was once a floor is down, it stays down. The only way to fix this problem would be to build me another boat…………. So thats what they did, they built me another boat in double quick time with no fuss or argument. It’s this kind of service, this kind of attention to detail, that makes the difference, thats why I can recommend Warrior Boats and Phil Byrom, a class act thats sadly hard to find in this day and age.

I took delivery of my new boat 16th November 2012 and she is a joy, in fact she is all they said she would be and much much more besides, if you are thinking of taking advantage of the great exchange rates and tax free export value for money that a new boat offers, look no further than Warrior Boats UK a company and product you can rely on.

Peter Bowden, Nelson New Zealand.

Hi Paul ,

I would like to say a ” Big Thank You ” to you and the Warrior team for the excellent service we have had yet again from you all , when we traded up from our 165 , to a new 175 Export . The new boat has exceeded all our expectations . She handles like a dream in choppy seas and has space to fish with three of us onboard , with room to spare . The 100hp Suzuki makes light work of pushing the boat along when fully loaded , we can cruise at 20-22 knots with only 3500 revs , fantastic.

Apart form a brilliant product , the reason we came back to you to upgrade was that I know any questions or quires I have going forward will be dealt with straight away . You seldom get good ongoing customer service and support these days but you always take the time to help and offer advice .

When its time to change our current boat , the Warrior factory will get the first call. ( Unless I win the lottery then I might call Sunseeker first, you will be second , as I will need a new tender ). Keep up the great work.

Dear Phil, Paul and all and everyone at Warrior Boats,

The wow factor has returned to me, Asante Sana is top notch, load of heads turned in the Marina today, kids screaming with excitement what more can I say. BIG THANKS TO YOU ALL AT WARRIOR. Now for the glowing report to put on your web site if you wish.

Some two years ago when I hit fifty, it must have been a mid life crisis. I wanted to get a big boy motorbike , the boss ( Dianne my wife ) said no, well how about a Jet Ski then, not really as we Foster three kids aged 9-12 years old and it would be impossible to take them all out a once. Then came the idea of a day boat. I like to research everything in finite detail so it all started in February 2012. What sets Warrior aside from the competition is that they reply to the email section within no more that 45 minutes in my case, I am still waiting for replies from some of the competition !!!!! Now November 2012.

I was invited for a factory tour straight away and even collected at the local station by one of the co owners Paul Haynes. As a real novice after spending the first 10 minutes of my 2 hour tour I knew Warrior knew what they were talking about in the Marine trade and the 170 was firmly placed on our short list. I will not mention names of the competition as it will be rude too but the majority are clueless in customer care just trying to sell you what they have in stock and has been in stock for in some cases over a year, when asked questions often the answer would be no cannot be done, with Warrior I had only one no to a ridiculous request of having a 90 litre built in fuel tank in a 170 Leisure, I ordered our Boat with 2 extra Suzuki tanks, concern solved.

In September 2012 we all went to the Southampton Show with deposit in pocket to have our final look at what was on the market and to see if anyone else could come close to Warrior on price , quality and service , they could not. I ordered from Phil , tendered our deposit and was asked, would the delivery date of 03.11.2012 be cool, no problems I replied, order well and truly placed, me an excited big kid.

My wife and I being Foster Carers, we had to jump through hoops with our local services to get them to complete a satisfactory risk assessment, alterations were required to the original specification and so on, thanks Frank for sending all the appropriate certificates to the social services. Phil and Paul never oversold me any accessories related to our purchase, with Phil knowing what we were going to use the 170 for whilst other companies just try to bolt you into as many add ons’ as possible, not Warrior.

03.11.2012 now arrived all left home so very excited on our 280 miles trek to the factory, arrived around 09.30 hrs, Phil was there to greet us all and then went on to carry out an extensive 160 minute handover, this was so very detailed even running up the New Suzuki 80 with muffs on to see how she purred even though Warrior had bench tested the engine for 20 minutes previously , everything covered all questions answered we paid our balance and headed South for the 280 mile return journey at 60 MPH !!. I think the smile is still on my face as I compose this positive testimonial to Warrior Boats.

04.11.2012 LAUNCH DAY pouring down with rain and blowing a Holley, never mind two very qualified RYA bods helping to take the 170 from the slipway to Chatham Maritime Marina where she is kept, these two professional stated that this Warrior is par excellence in its class and would be happy to undertake RYA training in a Warrior, my smile just extended.

I feel duty bound to all at Warrior to let you know how I really feel about your product range of Boats and how professional you all are in applying dedication in producing what I deem to be the ” Best 5 Meter Boat on the Market”, thank you so very much. If other companies took the time, development and focus on client delight, the British Industry would be in a much better state than it is, give Phil or Paul a call and ask them how they do it, I will give you a clue HARD WORK.

On a final note the Kiddies love the Polo Shirts from your new clothing range and say thanks, please feel free to post this on your web site and if any prospective client wish to view our 170 ” ASANTE SANA” please give them my telephone number and it will be my pleasure. Asante Sana in Swahili means “My Pleasure ” it was our pleasure to be clients of Warrior Boats, thank you so very much.

Dear Paul, Phil, and the rest of the Warrior team,

As you know I recently took delivery of my new Warrior 6m bespoke fishing boat “Cameron Jack III” and I feel compelled to jot a few words of thanks and praise.

I am lucky enough that in my line of work I pass your factory twice weekly and this has allowed me not only to monitor, but to keep a photographic record of my boat build from the first hull moulding to completion of the project.

The thickness of the fibreglass used in the mouldings is very impressive, as is the integral underfloor moulding forming the airtight buoyancy chambers and making (in my opinion) the safest boat in its class.

The attention to detail, and the finish of the boat is second to none, as is your patience with my exacting requirements.

The boat has exceeded my hopes and expectations by light years, I got her into the water on Saturday for the first time and after a tedious two hours of the initial run in time I was able to increase the revs, the boat handled like an absolute dream.

Many thanks

Dear Paul

Thanks very much indeed for looking after us so well last Wednesday – I apologise for taking a week to thank you and team! Roberto was great tidying things up and also the teach-in for the boat cover – this was VERY useful. I have taken it off and put it on with no problem at all since. Also Frank gave a very efficient handover.
The journey went well. The only slight hitch is the boat will not fit alongside the house but we have enough space at the front so no worries – just have to spend a bit of money for the hard standing!
I am really sorry about the burst tyre – that really was most unfortunate. I do hope it was repairable as I should think a new one is extremely expensive.
Thanks again! No doubt I will be in touch with the odd question. We are taking Ruby out on Friday!

Best regards,
Jeremy

Would just like to say how pleased i am with my warrior 165.I purchased my boat {THE MOLLIE REU }September 2010 from Flood Marine Omagh, on Johns’ recommendation kitted it out with a 70hp Yamaha and 4hp Yamaha aux. What a fine boat BRLL. I live in north Donegal at the mouth of the Foyle so we do get quite a bit of weather. Went out sat 26/2/11 to do a bit of fishing bright and bit brezy weserly 3/4, warior was fantastic, preformed 10/10 no slapping or banging about, felt real safe.
So thanks to the boys a Warior and Flood Marine.
As they say, “if Carlsberg Made Boats They Would Make Them All Like This”

Dear Paul and Phil ,

I would like to thank you both and all at Warrior for the first class service we have received .

From our first meeting at the Southampton Boat Show it was very obvious that you had our best interests at heart rather than profit . We had been thinking of purchasing a Warrior 175 , but after discussions with yourselves we were guided towards the 165 , which of course has turned out to be the right decision . It is refreshing to deal with a company that wants to guide its customers towards the products that are best suited to their needs.

Our 165 is absolutely superb , build quality is undoubtedly the best we have seen compared to the competition and she handles like a dream . Towing and launching are incredibly easy , even when single handed.

A word of advice for anyone who may be considering buying a boat in this class and is undecided, make an appointment to visit the Warrior factory and see the build process first hand , you cannot fail to be impressed . When its time to upgrade , I shall be looking no further than the Warrior range.

Kind regards,

Ricky Clark
